 Overview: The Risk Analyst will report to the VP of Operations and is responsible for initial and ongoing validation of financial information received and selected reviews of background reports and public documents.

Experience Required: Candidates should be familiar with processing commercial credit applications or credit analysis either through formal training or experience. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 4 years of experience in the financial services industry. We will consider people from a variety of professional backgrounds.

Qualifications:

  • Literacy and working knowledge of basic financial statements, public filing statements including UCC statements, and Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws
  • Previous experience in either credit analysis or processing credit applications at a financial institution

Responsibilities:

  • Perform selected validation on financial statements and information provided by exchange participants
  • Request and review public documentation searches
  • Use databases to request and review background and historical information on prospective company applicants. Link applicants to authorized representatives of prospective companies
  • File UCC liens, check UCC filings and search to reflect changes
  • Participate in Q&A with executive management of prospective Buyers and Sellers on the Exchange
  • Monitor good standing of Exchange members including compliance with reporting requirements and analysis of ongoing pertinent public documentation
  • Update and maintain internal tracking systems
  • Update and maintain internal tracking systems throughout lifecycle of Seller and Buyer on the Exchange
  • Perform or assist in trend analysis of Exchange members
  • Keep abreast of industry and Exchange trends as to how they relate to the Exchange’s model
